Open data from NewCasino.ai: gambling licence registers and block lists (CSV/JSON, CC BY 4.0)

This page is the index of every dataset NewCasino.ai publishes. Each file is a dated republication of a regulator’s own public record or a documented audit built from one, with the method written up on its own page. Nothing here is modelled or estimated: every row traces to a source document and a retrieval date. All files are CSV and JSON, released under CC BY 4.0, and archived on Zenodo with a DOI so a figure can be cited to a fixed version rather than to a page that changes. Cite the DOI, not the URL. Mirrors on figshare, Harvard Dataverse and Mendeley Data are listed under each dataset.

1. Ireland GRAI licence register

The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland’s licence register, republished with a dated growth ledger: 36 licences held by 35 companies (32 Remote Betting, 3 Remote Betting Intermediary, 1 In-person Betting) and zero remote gaming licences. Register file dated 21 September 2026; re-checked 5 October 2026, unchanged.

2. Ontario iGaming sites

Every site on iGaming Ontario’s published list of operators permitted to take Ontario players, with the operator behind each brand and iGO’s own offering tags: 84 sites, 74 of them offering casino games. Register retrieved 5 October 2026 (iGO’s stamp 1 September 2026).

3. Norway DNS-blocked casino domains and operator families

The 238 domains Lotteritilsynet has ordered Norwegian internet providers to DNS-block (decision of February 2026, tied by the regulator to 72 companies), republished one row per domain, plus a second file mapping 47 of those domains to 13 operator families that run numbered clones or multiple top-level domains to stay reachable after a block. The method page is in Norwegian; the files carry English column names.

4. Casino operator families

Consumer casino brands mapped to the companies that operate them, derived from the licence numbers each brand publishes and the regulators’ own registers: 27 brands across 17 operating companies, showing which apparently independent brands share an operator, a licence and a complaints route. Compiled 20 August 2026, file revised 18 September 2026.

5. Alberta AGLC registrants and AiGC directory

Alberta’s two registers reconciled: AGLC iGaming registrations (legal entities, by registration class and expiry date) against the Alberta iGaming Corporation’s player directory (live consumer sites). At the 16 October 2026 check: 42 operator registrations held by 40 entities, 130 entities across all iGaming registration classes, and 49 directory listings under 46 brand names. Each entry carries the date it was first observed, which is why published operator counts for Alberta differ between sources.

6. Anjouan licence register expiry audit

Every entry on the Anjouan Gaming Authority’s public licence register with its own expiry date set against the status the register shows. Read 17 October 2026: 1,295 Internet Gaming Licences, every one marked “valid”, including 124 whose expiry date had already passed (by 1 to 143 days, covering 332 domains) and 114 more expiring within 30 days. The previous read, 18 September 2026, held 1,527 entries with 340 past expiry; both readings are kept for diffing.

How to cite

Cite the Zenodo DOI of the version you used, so the figure stays checkable after the page updates. Example:

Where a dataset has a concept DOI, citing it always resolves to the latest version; cite the version DOI when the exact count matters.

Licence

All files and derived fields are released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0): reuse, redistribute and build on them for any purpose, with attribution to NewCasino.ai and a link to the DOI or the method page. The underlying registers remain the public records of the regulators named in each file.

Update schedule

Each register is re-checked monthly and the method page is updated the day anything changes, with the previous figure kept on the page. A changed snapshot is published as a new version on Zenodo under the same concept DOI, so the concept DOI always points to the current file and earlier versions stay citable. Audit files carry the read date in the filename.
