Casino Slot RTP Database (April 2026)
If you’ve ever wondered why your mate seems to hit better sessions on Book of Dead than you do, there’s a chance you’re not playing the same game. A slot title can ship with three or four different RTP (Return to Player) configurations, and the operator picks which one to deploy. The difference between a 96.21% build and a 94.25% build isn’t cosmetic — it’s roughly $2 out of every $100 wagered, compounded across thousands of spins.
We started keeping this database after noticing that one Curacao-facing casino we review was quietly running the 88.12% version of Wolf Gold while advertising “all Pragmatic titles.” That was embarrassing for everyone involved. Below is our working list of titles that ship with variable RTP configurations, what each configuration is, and (to the best of our knowledge from session logs, regulatory filings and provider documentation) which casinos use which version.

Source notes: RTP values taken from provider mathematical documentation (Pragmatic Play build notes, Play’n GO configuration manuals, Nolimit City game sheets), cross-referenced with in-game info panels observed during our last test sessions. Casino attributions are based on direct inspection of the in-client game info panel where available; where we could not verify, the column is left blank.
How we built this database
Step one was collecting every RTP variant we could find for each title. That meant either (a) opening the game at an MGA or UKGC-licensed casino, hitting the “i” button and recording the figure, or (b) pulling the provider’s build sheet where it’s been disclosed. Pragmatic Play and Play’n GO both publish build sheets to their operator-facing portals, and screenshots of those circulate on affiliate forums. Nolimit City is more secretive — we’ve had to deduce their configurations from math model whitepapers.
Step two was checking which casinos run which version. For each casino, we open the game, take a screenshot of the info panel, and log the RTP. That’s slow, which is why this database has gaps. We’re adding roughly five new casino/game cells a week. Where a cell says “several Curacao brands” rather than naming names, it’s because we have evidence of at least three but haven’t confirmed which three — we’d rather be vague than defamatory.
Why RTP configurations exist at all
When a provider licenses a game to an operator, they’re effectively selling a math model. For most titles, there’s an “intended” RTP that the game designer built around — usually the high version. Operators in competitive markets (UK, Sweden, Denmark, Ontario, Malta) run the intended build because the regulator requires it to be disclosed and players can easily compare across brands. Operators in lower-transparency markets frequently licence the low-RTP build because it’s cheaper per month and the player can’t easily tell.
The spread matters. On Wolf Gold, the gap between the 88.12% build and the 96.01% build is enormous — roughly eight dollars out of every hundred wagered, which over a year of play compounds into thousands. If your casino is running the low build on a slot you play for hundreds of hours, you are literally playing a different game than a friend on a tier-1 site.
How to check RTP yourself before playing
Every regulated casino is required to surface RTP inside the game’s info panel. On most titles you hit the “i”, “?”, or hamburger menu in the top corner, then scroll to “Return to Player” or “Theoretical RTP.” If the figure shown matches the high build in our table, you’re fine. If it matches the mid build, you’re on a compromise operator. If it matches the low build, you should be asking yourself whether you want to be there.
Some casinos (mostly older Curacao operations) hide or remove the info panel altogether. Take that as a red flag. Our how-we-review methodology downgrades any site that doesn’t make RTP visible, because there’s no legitimate reason to hide a published number.
Games where the RTP doesn’t actually vary
A handful of well-known titles ship with a single configuration, which is why they’re missing from the main table. Starburst (96.09%), NetEnt’s Aloha! Cluster Pays (96.42%) and Mega Moolah (88.12% — yes, it’s bad, but it’s a jackpot slot and the long tail explains it) all come as a single build. If a casino is running these, you’re getting the same maths as every other casino that runs them.
