This register lists the licence behind every casino reviewed on this site: the regulator, the licence number where the operator publishes one, and the company that actually runs the site. Every row was checked against the issuing regulator’s own register — not the badge in the casino’s footer — and each is re-checked when reviews are updated. Last full check: 5 August 2026.
Why licence numbers matter: a footer badge is an image; a licence number is a claim you can verify in the regulator’s public register in under a minute. And the licence history matters more than the current badge — an operator that has moved from a stronger regulator to a weaker one over time is telling you which supervision it can still pass.

Who runs what: operator clusters
Licence numbers and operating companies reveal structure the brand names hide. From the register above:
- Hollycorn N.V. operates Jet4bet and Retrobet
- Licence
OGL/2024/822/0338is shared by IceCasino and V.Vegas — one licence, one operator, two storefronts
None of this is a criticism — running several brands under one licence is normal industry practice. But it matters to players: if one brand of a cluster delays withdrawals, the sibling brands share the same cashier operation, and complaints should be read across the whole cluster.
The licence ladder — how to read a downgrade
Regulators sit on a rough ladder of supervision strength: UKGC and MGA at the top, then Kahnawake, then Curaçao (strengthened since the GCB reform), then newer flags such as Anjouan and Tobique. An operator moving down that ladder over time is the single most reliable early warning we know of. It rarely appears in reviews because affiliate managers volunteer the current rung, not the history.
Check history yourself in two steps: search the regulator registers for the operator’s company name (not the casino name), and put the casino’s terms page through the Wayback Machine to see which licence it claimed a year ago. Our verification guide walks through it, and our licence comparison covers what each jurisdiction actually requires.

How often is this updated?
Every entry is re-verified when its review is updated, and the whole register gets a monthly pass. If you spot a licence that has changed before we do, use the contact page and we will re-check it against the register the same week.
Why do some casinos show no licence number?
Some regulators (and some operators) publish an entity name but no public licence number. Where no number is displayed, we name the regulator and operating company we verified instead.
