Careful with lookalike domains. arcticbet.no and arcticbet.net both resolve and look like the brand, and Alta Gaming told us plainly on 6 August 2026 that they are not theirs — “some sorts of scam — we do not own them”. Is ArcticBet legit?
Licensed to a high standard — and blocked in Norway. Both things are true, and most reviews mention only the first.
ArcticBet holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence (MGA/B2C/1068/2024), which is the strongest tier available short of the UKGC: segregated funds, an MGA complaints route and audited RNGs. We checked the domain records ourselves. arcticbet.com and arcticbet2.com sit on the same operator’s AWS nameservers — and arcticbet3.com is already registered on the same setup, with nameservers configured and no site behind it yet. The next mirror is pre-positioned.
That is the multi-domain pattern our blocklist page documents, where 13 operator families run 47 domains between them, and this is the clearest first-hand example of it we have: blocking one address does not remove the operator, it moves it to the next number up. What it means for you as a player is that the site will load, and that the Norwegian regulator has ordered it blocked anyway.
