MyStake’s mini-games are its own shelf of fast, simple games — a chicken-and-bones grid, a dinosaur crash game, a Plinko board — in a Mini Games tab beside the slots and sportsbook. Every game fact comes from MyStake’s own guides, bonus terms and fairness page, read on 5 October 2026. One correction first: there is no game called Mines at MyStake; the mines-style game is Chicken.

What the mini-games are and where to find them

The top menu on mystake.com has a Mini Games entry between Tournaments and Originals. The lobby held 33 games on 5 October 2026, including Chicken, Chicken 2, Chicken Cross, Dino and Plinko. They are instant games, not slots: a round is one decision or one drop and is over in seconds. You need an account to open any of them; stake, cash-out and auto settings sit inside the game window.

How Chicken works

Chicken is MyStake’s signature game, built by Upgaming, with two later variants in Chicken 2 and Chicken Cross. The board is a 5×5 grid of 25 covered plates, each hiding a chicken or a bone, placed at random. Before the round you choose how many bones are hidden, from 1 to 24, and set your stake. You lift plates one at a time: every chicken raises your multiplier, a bone ends the round and takes the stake, and between picks you can cash out at the multiplier reached.

More bones means faster multiplier growth per safe pick, because each pick was likelier to end the round. MyStake does not publish the payout table, but at 24 bones there is one safe plate in 25, so you win one round in 25 on average, and a fixed house edge means that win pays less than the 25× a game with no edge would return.

Mines at MyStake — the game that isn’t there

“Mines” is the generic name for this format: a grid, hidden mines, a multiplier that rises with each safe tile, a cash-out button. MyStake’s own article on the Chicken category compares the two, but its lobby has no game called Mines; the only “mine” on the site is Mine Slot in the Originals section, a slot. Chicken is it: bones instead of mines.

How Dino works

Dino is MyStake’s in-house crash game. You stake, a pixelated dinosaur runs across a desert dodging cactuses and pterodactyls, and a multiplier climbs while it runs. Cash out at any moment and you take your stake times the multiplier at that instant; when the dinosaur crashes, any stake still in play is lost. Three controls matter: a manual cash-out button, an auto cash-out at a multiplier you fix in advance, and two separate bets on the same run. Stakes run from 0.20 to 1,000 in your account currency (operator-stated). MyStake publishes no maximum multiplier, so we quote none.

How Plinko works

You set a stake, choose how many balls to drop, and each ball falls through a maze of pins, bouncing left or right at every row until it lands in a box along the bottom. Each box carries a multiplier and you are paid your stake times that box. A ball bouncing at random usually finishes near the middle and rarely reaches the edges, so the middle boxes pay least and the edges most. MyStake describes the game as highly volatile for this reason: most drops return a fraction of the stake, and the big edge multipliers arrive rarely.

RTP and house edge: what MyStake states, and what it means

Return to player (RTP) is the share of all stakes a game pays back over a very large number of rounds; the house edge is the rest. MyStake publishes these figures, and only these:

  • Dino: “RTP sits at 96%” (operator-stated, MyStake’s Dino guide). House edge 4%.
  • Plinko: RTP “ranges from 98% to 99%” (operator-stated, MyStake’s Plinko guide). House edge 1–2%.
  • Chicken: no figure. MyStake’s guide says the game “is still built around a fixed house edge” and that outcomes are provably fair.

These are averages over millions of rounds, not promises about your session: one evening can sit far above or below them. On fairness, MyStake’s “Fairness & RNG Testing Methods” page states that its random number generators are tested and certified by a licensed laboratory it does not name, that results cannot be predicted or manipulated and that its provably fair system lets the player verify each result. We report that as MyStake’s statement; we have not audited the games.

Why they are high volatility, and how fast a session can go

Rounds last seconds: a Dino run can end at 1.00×, and a 20-bone Chicken round is usually over on the first plate. At €2 a round and ten rounds a minute you put €20 through the game every minute. The published 96% says the house keeps about 80 cents of that on average; it says nothing about how lumpy the losses are. A €100 deposit can be gone in well under an hour without a single unusual result. No setting changes the house edge; auto cash-out, split bets and the bone count change the shape of your results, not the average. Anything sold as a prediction tool, a hack or a guaranteed strategy for these games cannot exist.

Bankroll and limits: set them before you open the lobby

  • Decide the session’s money before you deposit, and deposit only that. MyStake’s responsible-gaming page lists account limits, time-outs and self-exclusion; ask support to set a deposit limit before the first session.
  • Size the stake to the round count, not the balance. €2 a round is a hundred rounds for €200 of turnover, and a hundred rounds is ten minutes.
  • Use auto cash-out as a stop, not a strategy. It does not change the edge; it enforces the number you chose.
  • If you are chasing, stop. Self-exclusion at MyStake runs from six months to five years by emailing support; our responsible gambling page lists the free helplines.

Does the welcome bonus work on the mini-games?

No. MyStake’s Welcome Casino Bonus is a 300% package up to €/$1,500 across your first three deposits. Its own terms, read on 5 October 2026, say it “is available for Casino Slots games only” and, on the mini-games: “While having an active bonus, you can place bets on Mini Games. However, this will not affect your rollover progress.” You can open Chicken or Dino with a bonus active, but bets there do nothing towards the 30× (deposit plus bonus) you must clear within 30 days, and bonus and deposit sit in one combined balance while you do. Other terms: minimum deposit 20; maximum bet 5 per spin on slots while the bonus is active. Run the figures in our wagering calculator.

The crypto deposit offer listed on 5 October 2026 is 100 free spins on a first crypto deposit of €20 or more, a slots offer; MyStake has run a dedicated mini-games bonus in the past, but none was listed when we checked. The practical reading: play the mini-games on a plain deposit, or take the bonus and clear it on slots first.

Where to play

The games on this page are exclusive to MyStake, which accepts players from Canada, Ireland and Norway and holds a Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence, OGL/2024/1798/1048 (renewal under GCB review). We have deposit-tested it: in April 2026 our editor put €100 in, withdrew €200 by crypto, and the withdrawal was credited in 51 minutes. Full detail is in our MyStake review; Canadians comparing crypto with card deposits have our crypto casinos Canada guide. None of the 53 countries MyStake’s terms exclude from the welcome bonus is Canada, Ireland or Norway.

Verdict

Chicken, Dino and Plinko are good versions of what they are: quick, legible instant games with published RTPs on two of the three and a provably fair system the operator describes on its own pages. Play them with a fixed, small stake, a deposit you have already decided to lose, no bonus attached, and a stop line set before the first round. Played to win something back, they are the fastest route on the site to an empty balance.

FAQ

Is the MyStake chicken game rigged?

MyStake states that its random number generators are tested and certified by a licensed laboratory, that outcomes cannot be predicted or manipulated, and that Chicken’s results are provably fair through a commitment scheme the player can verify. It also states the game is built around a fixed house edge. MyStake publishes no Chicken RTP figure. We report these as the operator’s statements and have not audited the game.

Can I play Chicken from Canada, Ireland or Norway?

Yes. MyStake accepts players from all three countries, and none is on the list of countries excluded from its welcome bonus. It holds a Curaçao Gaming Control Board licence rather than a local one, so a dispute goes to the operator and then the Curaçao regulator, not a Canadian, Irish or Norwegian body.

Does the welcome bonus work on mini-games?

No. MyStake’s Welcome Casino Bonus terms state that the bonus is for casino slots only and that bets on Mini Games while a bonus is active do not affect rollover progress. Play the mini-games on a plain deposit, or clear the bonus on slots first.

What RTP do MyStake’s mini-games have?

MyStake states 96% for Dino and 98% to 99% for Plinko on its own game guides; it states no figure for Chicken, describing it only as built around a fixed house edge. RTP is a long-run average, not a per-session figure.

Is there a Mines game at MyStake?

No. The Mini Games lobby had 33 titles on 5 October 2026 and none is called Mines; the only “mine” on the site is Mine Slot in the Originals section, a slot. Chicken is MyStake’s mines-style game, in the same grid-and-cash-out format.
